What big bags (soft containers) are used for and where

Big bags, also known as FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers), are nothing more than large, strong polypropylene sacks equipped with load-bearing lifting slings.

They are used to store and transport bulk and loose materials — sand, cement, grain, fertilisers, chemical granules and much more. Big bags can hold from several hundred kilograms up to a tonne or more, and the lifting loops make them easy to move with a forklift or crane.
