The difference between manual and machine stretch film

Stretch film is divided into two main types — for manual and for machine wrapping. They differ in the width and weight of the roll and in their properties.

• Manual film comes in lighter, narrower rolls and is applied by hand. It is convenient for small volumes and irregular loads;
• Machine film comes in wider, heavier rolls with a higher pre-stretch and is used with automatic wrapping machines for large volumes.
